All AREC Media Stations produce RTSP streams that can be accessed whenever the devices are working. To open this stream, you will need to use any video player capable of opening network streams and type “rtsp://ip address of your media station/movie”. When the stream loads, you will see the Media Station’s recording and streaming video output and you will also be able to hear the mixed audio output. RTSP streams are easy to start and they can be used for monitoring, to bring the Media Station’s video to another room without Internet streaming, and to connect a Media Station as an RTSP source to a software or hardware device among other applications. All Media Stations except LS-860 have the RTSP streaming function enabled by default. For LS-860 you can manually turn it on in the “Administrator” web page, “Video” tab -> “Server” page. If you would like to know more about this or other functions of AREC Media Stations, please contact us at www.a-dena.com and we will be glad to assist you.
