ADENA Hack: How to work with VCMS platforms

VCMS platforms are a great tool for storing and hosting streams and material for companies, universities, and many other types of organizations. AREC made integration with such platforms a priority, and thus we have successfully integrated Kaltura, Panopto, Opencast, and Switchcast platforms. These integrations are convenient for both the hosters and their viewers - for example, hosters can automate recording and streaming processes through scheduling support.

For viewers, the benefit is to not just see the professionally recorded and mixed videos from AREC media stations, but also to be able to select and see a particular channel they want to focus on.
