Like with other RTMP-based platforms, all you need to stream to YouTube is a Stream URL and Stream Key.
In YouTube, this information can be obtained in YouTube Studio. Access it by clicking on “Create” -> “Go Live” buttons. Once you do that, YouTube Studio will open, and you will automatically land on the “Stream” page, where you can find both the stream URL and key. First press “Copy” next to the “Stream URL”, paste it into your Media Station’s streaming configuration and put a forward slash “/” sign (this configuration is found in “System Administrator” web page -> “Video” -> “Streaming”). Then, press “Copy” next to the “Stream Key” and paste it after the stream URL and forward slash in your Media Station. Your complete link will resemble this structure: rtmp://server URL/stream key. With the link set up successfully, everything is ready for streaming.
YouTube is just one of many platforms supported by AREC, and using it is simple and free. If you would like to know more about streaming with AREC, please visit our www.a-dena.com and we will gladly assist you with any questions.
